Ace exams and get the grades you need.
No matter the level of Maths exam you’re preparing to sit, the thought can be a daunting one. Knowing where to begin with revision or what works best for you can be a tricky task but with a personalised tutoring plan we’ll find the way that works best for you and gets the results you need.
When it comes to Maths exam preparation, the support you need might vary. You may just want to brush up on particular areas of knowledge such as Algebra or Multiplication or you might need support making sure you’re familiar and comfortable with what format to expect. Whatever you feel you need some extra support on, we’ll discuss what works best for you and the best way to achieve the grades you’re capable of.
Past Papers
So that you’re prepared in the best way possible, past papers are a great way to understand not only the format of the exam paper but the types of questions that have been asked before.
You’ll never be able to second guess the exam board but looking at years worth of past papers is the perfect way to practice sitting the exam and understanding the ways they may ask you to use specific Maths skills in a way you’ve never seen before.
Exam Settings
Another way we can make sure you’re prepped and ready for your upcoming exam is to sit an exam in an exam mock-up setting. Sometimes even the best of us struggle under the pressure and what better way to be prepared than to recreat the exam environment.
“Angelo has tutored two of my children for Maths prior to their GSCE exams, he’ll also be tutoring my daughter next year. This was very successful and gave the boys greater confidence in their abilities prior to their exams. “
Dinah Bird
“Angelo comes to our house once a week for half an hour and will ask if my daughter is struggling with any new topic/method and will them explain it in greater detail and get her to practice it until she is confident in that area. He also recaps key topics from time to time so that my daughter is regularly practicing them for when they next crop up in tests. “
